#11: The Grand Finalé Day 100 As the final day of Stevivor approached, remaining Stevivors Laura and Maxine were more scared than ever. It still had not been revealed how the final vote would be determined. There were no immunity challenges, no tribal councils, nothing either of them could do to prepare. "This whole time I've been trying to get on everyone's good side," says Maxine, "but this time, I had no idea what to do." One thing was for certain, it was certainly quiet on Rosetta Island for the past few days as Laura and Maxine hardly said a word in edgewise to each other. "It was all about winning at this point," says Laura. "There was nothing I could think of to say to her at this point." Finally, a tribal council was called. Mother Winslow, who had been the moderator of the Stevivor competition, was on hand to explain what the two had to endure. "As you know, you have had no knowledge of how the final vote off would occur," says Mother Winslow. "Now, it is time for you to find out. Bring out the voters." Laura and Maxine were shocked and amazed when they found the voted off Stevivors - Rachel, Harriette, Waldo, Richie, Judy, Eddie, Carl, and Stefan - came out from the darkness. "You helped vote off these Stevivors," says Mother Winslow. "Now they will work together to vote one of you off." Both Laura and Maxine were scared of such an event. Laura had pretty much been a loner throughout the entire process and have not made many alliances. "I was not the friend-maker during this journey," says Laura. "They all made alliances with Maxine." But it could be all of those alliances that could pose a problem for Maxine. Once the other Stevivors conferred with each other, it was pretty probable that they could find out Maxine's secret alliances with almost everyone. The remaining Stevivors would now get to vote Laura or Maxine one by one, starting with the Stevivors earliest voted off.
Richie: "I never really got to know much about either Stevivor since I was the first voted off. But cousin Laura is family and without a concrete reason, I can't vote against family. My vote is for Maxine."
Judy: "Maxine lied to me! She told me she wasn't going to vote me off and she did. Well now, it's payback time. My vote is for Maxine."
Eddie: "My vote off was a conspiracy, plain and simple. If it was played fair, I would probably be where you two are. But by using deceit and being two-faced, everyone was swayed to vote me off, all because of Maxine. My vote is for her."
Harriette: "Laura and Maxine were both a pain. But no one was more of a pain than Laura. She never went along with what I said. She and I had the same problems that Carl had with Eddie. When we're out here, they just think that the parent-child relationship is void, and it's not. My vote is for Laura."
Stefan: "It's pretty simple for me to vote on this. I care for Laura very much, and Maxine ratted me out for no reason at all than to get rid of people she thought would potentially vote her out after the tribes would merge. My vote is for Maxine."
Waldo: "I tried making nice with Maxine and never got the chance, and it was because Rachel and Laura wanted as many members of our tribe off as possible. I'm sticking by my sweetie and I'm voting for Laura."
Rachel: "Laura took the scared approach to get rid of me. Instead of working with me, she got Maxine and Carl to vote against me because she felt I could have won the ultimate Stevivor. My vote is for Laura."
Carl: "This proved difficult for me. Being with these two, I know that both of them conspired to get rid of me. But after careful thinking and analysis, I made up my mind. Laura was trying to win. That's why she wanted me voted off. And I can't blame her for that. Although it would have been nice to form an alliance for her, I can understand why it didn't happen... she wanted to compete with someone weak, and she did. Maxine pulled every double-crossing trick in the book, and it got her this far. It probably would have gotten her the win, if it wasn't for our voting. My vote is for Maxine."
With two more votes, the ex-tribal members had spoken. Maxine would join the others and leave Rosetta Island to return to Steve. Laura was not only the winner, but the ultimate Stevivor. "I never felt so wonderful in all of my life," says Laura. "I worked out, planned strategies, and it all paid off. I was definitely a little sad that my mother, my sister, and my aunt voted against me, but Maxine never had a chance. She made too many alliances, and it caused her downfall." Now, Laura Winslow, the ultimate Stevivor, spends the remainder of her Stevivor journey to Rosetta Island, before having to return to put up with Steve Urkel, like everyone else.
Now comes the best part of being a part of Stevivor, the post-Stevivor lucrative deals. Let's see what our Stevivors are up to now that the Steviving is over:
